1.Mount Tabor summit trail~25 min From the studio
A 2 km loop among oaks on the summit, past the fortress walls and the Church of the Transfiguration, with views of the Galilee, the Gilboa and the valley. The church asks for modest dress; check its opening hours before you go.

2.Mount Precipice, Nazareth~20 min From the studio
A paved, accessible path from the car park to the lookout, about 300 m above the valley, facing the Gilboa, Givat HaMoreh and Tabor. It faces west, so it suits sunset, and there is no mud even after rain.
  3. 🌲
3.Dahi recreation site, Givat HaMoreh~20 min From the studio
A forest on the hill above Afula with views of the Gilboa, the valley and the Carmel. The lookout tower is closed to climbing, but the view from the forest is enough. Dirt road, can be muddy after rain.
  4. 🌿
4.Alonim Beit Keshet lookout~25 min From the studio
An accessible, shaded lookout facing Mount Tabor and the Lower Galilee slopes. Perfect for a short stop in the afternoon light.
  5. 🥾
5.Nahal Tavor short loop~30 min From the studio
About 3.5 easy km above a basalt canyon, starting at the car park north of Kibbutz Gazit. Best before the rains: it gets very muddy after rain. Lupines start in late January.
